About Borrowing
Who may borrow?
If you live within the boundaries of Central Citizens' Library District, you, upon proper identification and proof of present address, can get a library card. Anyone with a valid library card from any library may borrow in-house items available for loan.
How long may items be kept?
Most materials may be kept for two weeks and renewed for an additional two weeks unless a request for a specific item has been filed by another patron. Special vacation loans may be made on request
What about late returns?
For the best service to the school and the public, materials cannot be unduly retained by one user. A charge of $.10 per calendar day is made for each item kept beyond the due date (for certain audio-visual materials, the fine is higher).
